What do you put on birth announcements?
Obviously you put the baby's name and birth date, but should I also put her length, weight and the time she was born?
Is there anything else I should add? I'm using one of those photo card announcements so it already says "We are proud to announce" on it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I would probably put the weight and time of birth but not the length on it as well.
My friend had a text sent out to a select amount of contacts not long after the baby was born that was something like "Riley Diana S____ is here!! Born February 6th - 2:11pm, weighing 6lbs 10oz, mum and baby are doing well."
I thought it was short and sweet, there is no need to go over the top and add in every little detail, people just want to know the name and date of birth really and to know that everything is going well. I wouldn't do much more than that, short and simple is good
