Montreux, in Switzerland, is renowned among music fans as the home of one of the world's best annual Jazz festivals. Over the Christmas season it’s also home to one of the biggest parties in the country.
Every year the Montreux Music and Convention Center is host to a huge Christmas party with the best DJs in the world congregating there to play music throughout the night. If you fancy dancing Christmas away then you won’t find a better or more original venue.

Toast New Year’s Eve atop a glacier
Toasting atop a volcano too hot for you? How about a glacier?
The Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland, is offering adventurous guests a unique New Year’s Eve experience with a Rolls-Royce and helicopter transfer from the hotel to a nearby glacier where you’ll enjoy a glass of champagne at 3,000 meters when the clock strikes midnight. Settings don’t get more unforgettable than this.
Those less inclined to make it to the top of a glacier may also find the hotel’s special New Year’s Eve dinner appealing, with a Truffle menu designed by three-star Michelin chef Anne-Sophie Pic – 520CHF per person.

Can you name a childhood memory for all years?
Or is it just a few years, they were more fond of you? Obviously, I do not think any of us remember when we were 1 or 2, but are you able to recall the memories of each year (or so) from your childhood? I seem to remember ---- 7 and 8 quite well before and after it is blurry for some reason.
I do not remember 4 or 9 or 10 very well at all, just remember years when something traumatic or exciting happened when I was 3, I fell out of bed and broke my collarbone when I was 5 years old, I started gardening and loved my teacher Child when I was 6, I broke the wrist and started first grade and the teacher was a family friend was so excited, but at the end of the school year, my best friend had a sleepover and they said they were moving (when I was 7, I remember saying that our school to close and have to go to another school, I was shocked, but then we moved and ended up in the same school as most of my friends. I also met my freinds again better than last year ... when I was 8, I remember watching the Challenger explode on TV
